Hi! I'm Rachel

The face behind EverWild Photography, happily based on the beautiful Central Coast. My approach is simple, I’m here to capture the real stuff. The kind of moments that happen in a blink: the way your partner looks at you when you’re laughing, the quiet hand squeeze before you walk down the aisle, the kiddo giggles that fill your heart right up. My style blends candid storytelling with a relaxed vibe so your photos feel natural, connected, and full of emotion. Imagine flipping through your favorite memories, only prettier!

Photography wasn’t always my main gig, I started out doing wedding videography with my husband, Dylan (aka the best teammate and teacher I could ask for). He’s an amazing photographer who showed me how magical it is to freeze time and give people something they’ll cherish forever. Even though I’m newer to running my own photo business, I’ve spent years second-shooting alongside him, soaking up all the experience I could, especially in the world of weddings.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me curled up with a book, surrounded by my two spoiled cats, Moon and Elde. I’m a proud plant mama, a Swiftie through and through (yes, I do have a playlist for every mood), and a self-proclaimed cheesy dating show expert - which my husband has now learned to enjoy too (or at least pretend). I have a huge sweet tooth and will never turn down a post-wedding cupcake or slice of cake. I also drink way too much coffee (iced or hot, as long as it’s sweet), so if you spot me without a camera in hand, there’s a good chance I’m holding a latte instead.

Most importantly, my job isn’t just to take photos, it’s to make you feel completely comfortable and let the real moments shine through. You might even forget I’m there… and honestly, there’s a good chance we’ll end up as friends by the end of it all!
